Our objective is to end veteran homelessness. It does not mean that no veteran will ever expertise a housing crisis once more, or that there aren’t still homeless veterans as we speak. This program gives multiple access points through partnerships between the City of Jacksonville MAVD, Clara White Mission, CareerSource, the Emergency Companies Homeless Coalition, Goodwill of North Florida and I.M. Sulzbacher Heart.
The veterans who stay there will obtain supportive services — from job training to transportation to medical and mental well being services — offered on website. DCHV provides a structured setting to foster Veterans’ independence and mutual help. This fact sheet examines homelessness amongst U.S. veterans.
Nationwide Coalition for Homeless Veterans : The National Coalition for Homeless Veterans’ (NCHV) mission is to end homelessness amongst veterans.
